We are the Plovdiv Youth Choir “Otepeto” – born on October 1st, 2023, right on the Day of Music (yes, that’s no coincidence 😉). Our home is Art Center “Alejandro” in Plovdiv, our conductor Julia Uzunova is leading us with inspiration and a smile, accompanied by the ever-magical pianist Martin Daskalov.

🎶We were created with the idea of becoming a special musical space in Plovdiv – a place where young people (students and post-grads alike) can come together and share the same joy. We’re a mixed chamber ensemble – a colorful bouquet of singers aged between 20 and 35, all from different walks of life, but equally in love with music and choral singing.

🎉 In just two years we’ve already made quite a splash (in the best possible way!) – performing in concerts, joining festivals, taking part in all sorts of wonderful initiatives and… we even won a Debut Award at the Petko Staynov National Choral Festival in Kazanlak!

We’re still at the beginning of our journey, but we dream big and sing with all our hearts.
